Self Leveling Concrete Overlays
Not all existing concrete slabs are the best candidates for polishing. If you have a slab that is damaged with spalling, holes, uneven, or other serious aesthetic defects, a concrete overlay might be for you.
Overlays can be poured on top of damaged concrete floors (and in some cases other types of flooring) to provide you with a polishable surface, without going through the hassle of ripping up the previous slab and starting from scratch. Overlays can also be seeded with aggregate, achieving the look of a terrazzo at about half the price.
Placing the overlay can be a difficult and delicate process. It takes precision and patience to ensure the floor will be poured to perfection. Despite the time and diligence it takes to install overlays, it is always worth the effort. Give us a call if you are considering an overlay for your space.
